Collision domain

Collision domain
(область коллизий, коллизионный домен) Часть сети (сегмент), в котором станции используют общую среду передачи. При попытке одновременной передачи данных двумя или более станциями возникает конфликт (коллизия). Для разрешения конфликтов используется протокол CSMA/CD.
